Attractions in Adelaide

Adelaide is South Australias state capital and as you would expect from any of the state capitals there is a lot to entertain the visitor who is willing to scratch the surface. Adelaide has some excellent attractions including sports grounds and cultural experiences to rival any of Australias other citys. Overview Suburbs Attractions Going Out Hostels

South Australian Museum
If your looking for a good way to spend an afternoon then the South Australian Museum could be the answer. Located to the north of the city centre on North Terrace the state museum is definitely worth a visit. Dedicated to natural history including fossil displays the museum also houses Australias most impressive exhibit of aboriginal artifacts.

Adelaide Oval
Adelaide's home of cricket is a ten minute walk north from the city centre over the Torrens River. The oval plays host to international cricket matches and Australian league matches. Tours are run every day including a look at the onsite cricket memorabilia museum.
