When backpacking Australia you will have a list of many things that you want to do. But more importantly, if you’re an adrenaline junky then Australia will not disappoint. There are activities scattered around Australia catering specifically for backpackers who want to do some crazy things in the some of the most amazing locations.

1. Bungee Jumping – Fancy throwing your self off a bridge or a purpose built platform attached to a piece of elastic then head to cairns and get involved.

5. Snowboarding – Yes that’s right snowboarding, we are not crazy, certain parts of Australia experience good snowfall over the winter months so head to the Snowy Mountains for a little fresh powder.
6. Skiing – During the winter months head down to Victoria to get clipped into your skis and enjoy the best skiing that Australia has to offer.
7. White Water Rafting – Experience many different grades of white water rafting on different rivers around Australia with the largest choice of companies found in Cairns.
8. Paintballing – Indoor or out door, the choice is yours. Take a few friends and enjoy this war game in the Australian heat, just have a quick look for snakes before throwing your self under that bush for cover.
9. Jet Boat Rides – Scary but exhilarating, you will very quickly learn to trust your boat operator as he/she gets you unbelievably close to all manner of obstacles.
10. Big Wave Surfing – Not for the light hearted. When the swell gets up then its time for the inexperienced to exit the water. Just watching surfers tackle big waves at places like Bell’s Beach leaves you in awe.
